Photoshoots don't have to be boring!
Have a think at what makes your family, your family. When are your kids, more likely to act like your kids. Kids can be shy, so bring something that will keep them occupied, or food to keep them happy. The photos don't have to be perfect, with squeeky clean faces. Embrace it and let's make it fun. These will make the photos more special to you. Bring a picnic down to the beach, and we'll incorporate that into the shoot. Bring a frisbee, and we'll get shots of your family just hanging out. THE PHOTOSHOOT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE BORING!
Some Tips for your booking
We try to use natural settings as a backdrop, especially during the golden hour. It's a GREAT way to add an amazing ambiance to the photos. Feel free to screenshot this page for your notes!
- Embrace the Movement: Natural backdrops often involve uneven terrain, gentle breezes, and interesting textures. Don't be afraid to let your hair flow naturally, wear clothing that allows for some movement, and embrace dynamic poses that interact with the environment.
- Accessorize with Confidence: While the natural backdrop provides plenty of visual interest, you can still add a touch of personality with well-chosen accessories. Think about jewelry that complements the natural colors or a scarf that adds a pop of color.
- Colour Coordination is Key: Consider the colour palette of the natural backdrop when choosing your outfit. Solid colors often photograph best, and earthy tones can create a cohesive look with the environment. Experiment beforehand to find what flatters you and complements the scenery. These are only a guide, but try these colours:
- Let Your Confidence Shine: Natural backdrops can be incredibly flattering, highlighting natural beauty. Focus on feeling confident and comfortable in your own skin. The photographer will guide you with poses, but remember, your genuine smile and relaxed demeanor will make the photos truly shine.
- Prepare for Comfort: Natural settings can sometimes involve uneven surfaces, long walks, or unexpected bugs. Wear comfortable shoes that allow for movement, and consider bringing insect repellent or sunscreen if needed. Being comfortable will translate into more natural-looking photos. We do our best to relax you, but we understand some people just aren't comfortable in front of a camera.
