Sooo... Things have been pretty quiet here for a month or so with us! I'd like to take the opportunity to thank EVERYONE who has supported us this year and since the beginning. We will be shutting down for a while over summer to make sure I'm there for those who need me.
What's going on?
My partner, Nicole, has been battling a very rare brain tumor (nick-name Terry) and has now had four surgery's to get this removed. The latest being only a couple weeks ago. Histology of the tumor has come back in a very unfavorable way. Throughout her whole journey, the tumor has been benign (not life threatening), but this has changed to an aggressive malignant (life threatening) tumor. This behavior has only every been observed once EVER IN THE WORLD with her kind of tumor. She has been told she has a fairly finite amount of time to live.
Nicole has been given a road map for treatment, including radiation, chemotherapy etc but there is no guarantee. Just taking one step at a time. One of Nicole's colleagues and friends, Abi, has made her a Givealittle: https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/terry-the-tumor-brain... If you want to support that cause, then there is the link.
Its been a rough time and we appreciate everyone who has supported us and specifically her during this time. I want to shout out Two Brown Dogs and a Cat for looking after our little critta, Cindy at very short notice when Nicole had her surgery. Nothing was a problem, and they were incredibly flexible. Katie and Dean really made sure our best friend wasn't made a stress.
TNR Protography will be shutting down for a wee bit, just too make sure I can provide the best support for Nicole that I possibly can. I don't know how long for, but I can assure you we will be back. If you have a gift card for us, that will be honored, 100%, but my availability will be less with travel back and forth to Christchurch for treatment.
Thank you EVERYONE for your patience and support. We will be back soon. Love you all!
